Blogging for NGO security

The legendary Nick Downie, formerly of the Afghanistan NGO Safety Office (ANSO), now has a blog on (no surprise) NGO Security.

For those of you that like your humour weak, might I suggest that you start with the post Best Unintentional Security Pun of the Day? Please don’t blame me.

But this is a great idea – it’s good to see another “professional” NGO blog, and security is such an important area that I’m surprised that I haven’t blogged about it myself. So my next post will be on just that.

CORRECTION (6 May 2005): That’ll teach me to jump to conclusions – it’s not Nick running the blog, although he is involved in it. I have a good guess who did set it up, but will actually confirm it this time before I write their name…
